About Neil

Neil was born on the North Yorkshire heritage coast in 1962 and has always lived and worked in the area giving him an intimate knowledge of the coves, cliffs and sea.

Neil went onto study photography at Guisborough Prior Pursglove College. Much of his work focuses on the very small, a corner of a rock pool, strange lines sculpted by the tide in the sand and most recently the intense colour of newly exposed rocks. It is the stunning images he produces often of rock fragments millions of years old and about to be lost forever that have forged his growing reputation.
